Rye bread box - Svedjerug provides a tasty rye bread baked on the special Nordic rye variety - Svedjerug. In the box, we have replaced the ordinary rye with our luxury Svedjerug - both as flour and as cracked kernels.

You replace the Rye Cup recipe's cup measure of rye flour and rye kernels with Svedjerug and Svedjerug kernels. And then you enjoy the difference in taste.

Svedjerug is fine whole grain flour where 100% of the kernel is used. Svedjerug is an old Nordic variety of rye that has been cultivated throughout the ages. Svedjerug was rediscovered for approx. 40 years ago and has been multiplied so that today it can be sold around. Bread made from svedjerug has a particularly mild light nutty flavor and a higher protein content, it is lighter and does not dry out as quickly. Svedjerug's protein content is between 14 and 17%, where normal rye is around 9%. It has more dietary fiber than the modern varieties, and is therefore also more filling. The baking ability is fine, especially when baking according to traditional baking methods with sourdough and long rising times.

The rye bread box - Svedjerug contains all the ingredients for seven RyeCup rye breads. You will receive 2kg Svedjerug flour, 2kg broken Svedjerug kernels, 2kg wheat flour, 500g sunflower seeds, 500g linseed and 500g organic and freshly ground pumpkin seeds.
