Our Funen Quinoa flour is made from our own white Quinoa grown organically on Funen. Quinoa is a plant that has been cultivated in the highlands of the Andes for more than 6000 years. Whole quinoa seeds can be eaten as a filling in soups, in salads or as a side dish for vegetarian dishes. Quinoa flour can be used as a protein supplement in baked goods.
Our quinoa is grown organically in Midtfyn and is a variety that suits the Danish soils and climate.
