Purple wheat is very aromatic with good baking properties.
The husk parts contain natural anthocyanins, which give bread baked from purple wheat a beautiful purple glow.
Good for hearty, juicy wholemeal bread. This type of wholemeal bread is best baked in a mold. Whole grain purple wheat flour is also suitable for mixing with lighter types of flour.
