Rye cup sourdough starter instructional video

When you start your sourdough over 4-6 days, it's hard to see if anything is happening at all. That is why we have made this timelapse film where 6 days are shown in 45 seconds.

The cup is stirred daily. When the sourdough has started to smell sour (like e.g. beer) over a few days, your sourdough is ready for your first Rugkop rye bread. Good appetite.

Ingredients: 1.5 dl water, 0.5 dl wheat flour, 0.5 dl rye flour, 0.5 dl whole grain flour (island flour, spelled flour or similar)
